Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russian President Vladimir Putin would visit Iran on Tuesday.

During the visit, Putin is expected to attend a trilateral meeting with the leaders of Iran and Turkey. The trilateral meeting will focus on Syria.

During the visit, Putin will hold separate meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Peskov said.
