Helicopter crash of Heli Everest Air

Heli Everest Air’s helicopter crashed near Dhaulagiri base camp on Sunday morning.

The spokesperson of Tribhuvan International Airport, Teknath Sitaula, has informed that the helicopter of Heli Everest Air with the call sign 9NANB overturned today at 11 am while taking goods from the Italian base camp to the Dhaulagiri base camp. According to Nepal Civil Aviation Authority, the helicopter crashed into a mound and overturned.

Pilot Priya Adhikari was slightly injured in the accident and another helicopter has been sent for the rescue operation.

Malfunction in two planes of Yeti Air on the same day: Emergency landing after engine failure

Regular flights of 2 planes of Yeti Air have been cancelled due to malfunctions in the aircraft.

ATR 72 flight number 672 of Yeti Airlines, flying from Pokhara to Kathmandu, was returned to Pokhara after about 6 minutes of takeoff after the left engine of the plane showed signs of malfunction. The plane carrying 45 passengers made an emergency landing at Pokhara airport.

Similarly, YT 786 flight with 60 passengers from Biratnagar to Kathmandu was also cancelled due to an engine malfunction. There was a problem with the engine when the plane was about to take off. The airline cancelled the flight after the incident.
