PM Deuba inaugurates Butwal International Conference Center

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba inaugurated the Butwal International Conference Center today.

Prime Minister Deuba, who reached Butwal by helicopter of the Nepalese army, inaugurated the conference center today in a formal ceremony. Along with the Prime Minister, Home Minister Balkrishna Khand, Urban Development Minister Metmani Chaudhary, UML leaders Vishnu Paudel and Ramkumari Jhankri were also present in the program.

The main hall of the international conference center built on 9 bigha land of Butwal Mandap in Ramnagar has a balcony of 400 seats and a lower level of 300 seats with a capacity of 1000 seats. The total seating capacity of the conference center is 2,700 seats, including the main hall and 12 other halls designed for conferences and seminars.

The international convention center built at a cost of more than 1 billion rupees has 5 entrances, a helipad and a parking facility for 400 four-wheelers and 400 motorcycles.
