Prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene decreased

Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene by five rupees per liter.

The board meeting held on Monday evening decided to reduce the price. Manoj Thakur, spokesperson of the corporation said that this time, the corporation has determined the price using a scientific system. The price of fuel has been reduced for the third category (Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal) with effect from 12 midnight on Monday.

The new price of petrol in Kathmandu will be Rs 170, diesel and kerosene will be Rs 150.

For the second category (Surkhet and Dang) Rs.6 per liter has been decreased and for the first category (Charali, Birgunj, Janakpur, Amlekhganj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj and Dhangadhi) Rs.7.5 per liter has been decreased.

Keeping the price of LP gas unchanged, the corporation has reduced the price of aviation fuel by Rs 14 per liter domestically and by USD 115 per thousand liters internationally.
