Acting Chief Justice Deepak Kumar Karki on compulsory retirement

Acting Chief Justice Deepak Kumar Karki has gone on compulsory retirement from today.

Karki, who held the position of Acting Chief Justice for about 7 months, has gone on compulsory retirement due to the age limit of 65 years.

Due to the suspension of Jabara, Karki got an opportunity to lead the Supreme Court. With the departure of Deepak Karki, Supreme Court will be headed by Harikrishna Karki. Karki will become the Chief Justice on Mangsir 27, 2079 BS.

Supreme Court removed Cholendra from the list of judges and also removed the security personnel

The Supreme Court has removed Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Jabra from its list of judges on its website.

In place of Jabra’s name and photo, acting Chief Justice Deepak Kumar Karki has been placed. After the 98 lawmakers filed the impeachment motion today, the name and photo of Jabra, who was automatically suspended, has been removed and Deepak Karki has been permanently mentioned.

Karki is a senior Supreme Court judge.

According to the constitutional provision of automatic suspension as soon as the impeachment is registered, Rana has been without a role since Sunday.He had even removed the flag from the vehicle after the impeachment letter reached the apex court. The agitation against him had been going on for three and a half months.
