According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning in some hilly areas and a few places in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in Province No. 1 and Bagmati Province.

Similarly, during the night, It will be cloudy in hilly areas of the country and there will be partial to normal clouds in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning at a few places in Province No. 1, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and a few places in the remaining provinces. There is a possibility of heavy rain at a few places in Gandaki Province and one or two places in Province No. 1, Bagmati Province and Lumbini Province.
