The third day testimony of Jabara has begun today

The third day testimony of the suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Jabra has begun today.

The House of Representatives, impeachment recommendation Committee is taking statements with Jabra. Earlier, the committee took statements from Jabra on Bhadra 15 and 16, 2079 BS., where he had given a statement that he is not guilty of what he has been accused of.

The committee meeting was reconvened today as there are still questions to be asked to Jabara. 43 questions have been prepared for the statement. Out of which, only 6 questions has been asked till date.

An 11-member committee has been formed to investigate the impeachment.

The MPs of the ruling party filed an impeachment against Jabara on Falgun 1, 2078 BS, saying that he violated the constitution and laws by doing actions contrary to his official responsibilities.
