Tara Air flight from Pokhara to Jomsom lost contact

A Tara Air flight bound for Jomsom from Pokhara at 9:55 am has lost contact.

It has been learned that the 9N Alpha Echo Tango was in contact with the tower of Pokhara Airport when it reached Lete Pass and then suddenly lost communication.
Two private helicopters from Mustang and Pokhara have been used for the search operation after the plane lost contact and preparations are being made to use Nepal Army helicopters in the search operation.

It is said that there were 13 Nepalese, 4 Indians, citizens of 2 other countries and 3 crew members on board.
