Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson Resigns

Sweden’s Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson has resigned from her post after her government was defeated in Sunday’s election.

With the resignation of Magdalena Andersson, the leader of the moderate party, Ulf Kristersson, is expected to form the next government.

Anderssonn was the first female prime minister of a Nordic nation.
