Suspended Chief Justice Jabara at Singha Durbar for statement

Suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Jabara has reached Singha Darbar to give his statement on the impeachment.

The previous meeting of the impeachment recommendation committee called Jabara for a statement today. The chairman of the impeachment recommendation committee, Ram Bahadur Bista has informed that the committee has decided to call for his views on the impeachment issue.

After the committee made a public appeal and demanded to provide evidence against Jabra, Nepal Bar Association and legal professionals also submitted documents and evidence against Jabra to the committee.

The MPs of the ruling party filed an impeachment against Jabara on Falgun 1, 2078 BS, saying that he violated the constitution and laws by doing actions contrary to his official responsibilities.
