Dhangadhi – After ruling that the leaders of the ruling parliamentary party have taken vehicles facility against the law and instructed them to return the vehicles within three days, the Far West Province government has prepared to amend the Act on Service Facilities for Officials and Members of the Provincial Assembly to continue the vehicle facility.
As the deadline given by the Accounts Committee to return the three vehicles being used by the ruling party leaders contrary to the law to the Provincial Assembly Secretariat within three days is about to expire, the Sudurpaschim Province government has taken up the homework to amend the law itself to get the vehicle facility.
It is said that Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah has initiated discussions for the amendment of the Act so that the vehicle facility does not have to be returned and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law is preparing to draft the amendment and register the proposal in the Provincial Assembly Secretariat.
Khagraj Bhatt, the leader of the Maoist Center Parliamentary Party, Ghanshyam Chaudhary, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, and Ghanshyam Chaudhary, the leader of the Nagarik unmukti Party, are among those who have taken the vehicle facility against the law.
