Police raid at Butwal’s call center: More than 150 employees arrested

A team of police today raided the Blue Sky Call Center in Tilottama Municipality Jankinagar and arrested more than 150 employees including 7 operators.

It is said that they were arrested on the basis of a preliminary investigation of the police that they were active in online fraud business and were scamming people by saying that they had won the lottery on WhatsApp and Facebook.

According to the preliminary investigation of the police, the call center, which is also believed to be owned by foreign nationals, used to scam citizens in Nepal and India by sending various tempting and spam messages.
