PM’s directive to arrange registration of vehicles manufactured in Nepal

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has instructed the relevant agencies to arrange the registration of vehicles produced in Nepal and prepare a draft law for the registration process.

Prime Minister Dahal has instructed Chief Secretary Shankardas Bairagi to prepare a law related to registration and authorize a policy to encourage Nepali production after the issue of non-registration of vehicles made in Nepal including ‘Yatri’ was raised in Parliament.

According to Prime Minister’s press coordinator Surya Kiran Sharma, Chief Secretary Bairagi has instructed Madhu Marasini, secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supply, to immediately prepare and submit a draft law related to the registration and promotion of vehicles produced in Nepal.
