The report of the CCTV footage of the Ministry of Finance has been submitted to the Parliamentary Special Investigation Committee by the police forensic team.
The meeting of the committee held at 8 o’clock in the morning opened the sealed report, but it was said that it should be analyzed by the experts of the laboratory. Secretary of the committee Surendra Aryal said that the Sealed forensic report given by the police was opened, but since it is a technical matter, it has to be discussed with the experts, and then the detailed information about it will be released only after getting information from the experts of the laboratory.

After the CCTV footage was deleted from the Ministry of Finance, the investigation committee sent the forensic lab of the police to recover the footage. After the investigation committee did not find any concrete evidence during the investigation, it has been demanding that the facility of tracking the call details and location of the then Finance Minister Janardhan Sharma should be provided. However, members of the ruling party protested against providing the call details to the committee saying that it would violate the right to privacy.
