Dhangadhi. CPN-UML leader Bhim Rawal has said that development and prosperity cannot be achieved in the country if politics is focused on self-interest.
At the closing ceremony of the Chief Minister’s Cup volleyball tournament at Mahendranagar in Kanchanpur , he commented that leaders should not focus only on changing the government, who will become the prime minister and minister.
He believes that while neighboring India and China are developing rapidly, Nepal is lagging behind in geopolitics due to its own reasons.
If Nepal, which has a very sensitive geopolitics between the two countries, becomes weak, if the governance system is focused on personal interests, when will we develop sports, agriculture, health and economy? When will we give jobs to the youth?’ Rawal said, ‘If we only decide when the government will change, who will be the minister, and who will be the prime minister, we will not be able to develop the country.’
Rawal said that improving the economy of the country, returning the encroached borders, developing the agricultural sector and employment are the main needs of the present time.
