Floods and landslides along with incessant rains have blocked roads in different parts of the country

Due to the continuous rain, the road has been blocked by a landslide at Ghopte Bhir on the road section about two kilometers from Muglin under Prithvi Highway towards Kathmandu at around 11 last night.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the landslide could not be removed due to incessant rains. Even if the rain stops, it will take time to remove the landslide as the landslide with large stones has piled up on the road.

Similarly, Muglin Narayangadh road section has also been blocked due to landslide at Namsi Bridge in Topekhola under Ichchakamana Village Municipality-6 of Chitwan.
