Dr KC admitted to TU Teaching Hospital

Dr KC, who is on hunger strike demanding improvement in medical education and the overall health sector has been admitted to TU Teaching Hospital for treatment.

Dr KC was on a hunger strike with 7-point demands in Krishna Mandir Dharamshala at Dhangadi. Earlier he was admitted to Seti Provincial Hospital after serious health problems. After the Seti Provincial Hospital issued a statement asking the government to take the initiative to transfer him to a specialized hospital for treatment as more complex problems were found in his health, the government tried to bring him to Kathmandu in an army helicopter, which he refused.
Later today, on the 10th day of his hunger strike Dr KC came to Kathmandu at his own expense and now he is admitted to TU Teaching Hospital.

Despite being admitted to the hospital, Dr. will continue his hunger strike.
