Demonstration by lying down on the street

The agitating squatters, who have been demanding the protection of the Chure area and the provision of land to the squatters, have protested by sleeping on the road in front of the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers in Janakpurdham on Sunday.

Protesters demand that land should be provided to the squatters, and the investigation report made by the government on encroached forest areas should be made public.

They said that the land has been provided to other people without giving land to the real landless and they have said that there should be an investigation on the matter and that land should be provided to the real landless people.
