CPN-UML to protest against the Citizenship Bill

The main opposition party CPN-UML has said that it will protest against the Citizenship Bill.


Speaking at a press conference organized by Press Chautari Karnali in Birendra Nagar, Surkhet, CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel said that UML will hold a protest against the Citizenship Bill on 1st August.

General Secretary Pokharel has also criticized the government saying that the Citizenship Bill was passed by the Parliament to maintain the power and alliance and this is the government’s unworthiness.
Pokharel has also commented that it is doubtful that the Citizenship Bill passed rigt after Prachanda’s visit to India.
