Charles A. Flynn, Commanding General of the US Army’s Indo-Pacific Command, has arrived in Nepal.
Flynn, who arrived in Nepal after a four-day visit to India, was welcomed at the Tribhuvan International Airport by a high-ranking Nepal Army official.
Flynn is scheduled to meet with Chief of Army Staff Prabhuram Sharma at the Army Headquarters on Friday. He will also hold other high-level political talks in coordination with the US Embassy in Nepal and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On Saturday, Flynn will go to a mountain flight and after returning from there, he will participate in the program arranged by the embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On Sunday, Flynn will go to the Birendra Shanti Sainik Training Center in Panchkhal, Kavre and after that he will address the students at the Command and Staff College of the Nepal Army in Shivapuri.
After visiting Shivapuri, he will return home on the evening same day.
