A study conducted by the Health Office, Kathmandu, has found diarrhea and cholera bacteria in the jars and government tap water distributed in Kathmandu.
The Health Office, Kathmandu, has urged the people to drink jars and bottled water only after boilling. Adding to the situation authorities has warned that if we are not careful in time, it will create a dire situation.

Monitoring by the Department of Food Technology and Quality Control also found that the water from jar water distribution and treatment industries and companies are not suitable to drink directly . The health office has requested to drink only boiled or chlorinated liquid after finding diarrhea and cholera bacteria in the drinking water while testing the water sample distributed in the valley.
