An emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers to be held

Kathmandu – An emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers has been called after the death of former Speaker Subash Chandra Nemwang.

An emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers is going to be held at the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers at Singhadurbar. It is said that the meeting is preparing to decide on giving national honor to the late Subas Nemwang.

Nemwang died this morning of a heart attack. His body is currently kept at the TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj. From there, his body will be taken to the UML party office for homage.

There is a provision that the Council of Ministers has to decide on national honors in the case of others, except those specified in the procedures related to final honors.
