UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has called Maoist Center Deputy General Secretary Barshaman Pun and requested his help in the ordinance.

Maoist Center Deputy General Secretary Barshaman Pun said that UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel had called him to seek his help in the ordinance. Deputy Secretary General Pun commented that the UML is worried that the ordinance will be rejected.Pun said that the UML, which had bypassed them by being arrogant to govern through the ordinance, started asking for help after it got into trouble. He urged that if there is a good intention to solve the country’s problems, the ordinance should be withdrawn and the bill should be brought procedurally.

The ordinances were to be submitted for decision in the meeting of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly on Thursday. However, despite having a comfortable majority in the House of Representatives, the government had requested the Speaker to remove them from the agenda at the last minute because they were in a minority in the National Assembly.
