Kathmandu: Sports Minister Tejulal Chaudhary has inaugurated the secretariat at the NSC building in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu, for the preparations for the 10th National Games to be held in Karnali Province.

The 10th National Games 2081 are being organized in Karnali from Chaitra 23 to 30 with the slogan “Sports for Health, Sports for the Nation”.

The National Sports Council (NSC) has stated that a secretariat has been established in Kathmandu to facilitate the necessary work to make the National Games a success. Inaugurating the secretariat, Sports Minister Chaudhary informed that a meeting of the NSC Board has been called on Magh 30 and that detailed discussions will be held on the issues of the 10th National Games.

He said that there will be no shortage of budget to hold the National Games and that it will be held in a grander manner than before.

Similarly, NSC Member Secretary Tanklal Ghising informed that the province has completed the selection process for sports and that the necessary budget will be provided to the various teams participating in the competition and they will also be given the responsibility of team management.
